Today we have a beautiful session inspired by the Ballet & Rock Concept Challenge from photography Katrina Boone of Gianna Grace Photography.

Katrina is the official photographer for her local ballet company so this was the perfect concept to shoot!

“I photograph all their major productions, so over the years the girls and I have really grown close and I do little shoots with them from time to time, so when I told them about this they freaked out!” said Katrina.

We shot downtown Tampa, between 4pm-6pm. It was crazy windy , which made for some super great hair shots 😉 .
All my girls are professional dancers for The Brandon Ballet Company.

I shot with my Canon 6D and Canon 50 1.4 and Sigma Art 35 1.4.

We started planning this three weeks ago. We set up a Pinterest board and everyone added to it, We all talked via Group Me and planned our outfits we felt would compliment the hues of our downtown! We also worked together to set up the stair shot and it only took us 8 shots to master it!
