We are so excited about this fun Concept Challenge, Ballet & Rock. We asked photographers to use our inspiration board shown here to plan a concept shoot and submit their photos to us! We will be showing those photographer’s photos all week.
First up is the super talented Emil of Slice of Lime Photography. Emil loves fashion and has contributed to our What to Wear posts. This concept shoot was right up her alley and I love what she created. Check it out below!
“Last summer I started collaborating with my friend and fellow photographer (who doesn’t shoot seniors hahaha) Landon Wise of Landon Wise Photography on an Urban Dance Project, where we photograph dancers in grungy, urban spaces. So when I saw your post about this challenge I was so excited!”
“With the help of some friends were were able to put together this shoot as last minute as it gets aka secured a Model at 10:40pm Friday night and set up a shoot for 3:30-ish the next day. I am super pleased with how it turned out on such a limited schedule and with little to no time to pull together the looks. While there are a few things now in retrospect I would’ve added to polish off the looks, I love that even with limited time, the look came together pretty well.”
Camera: Canon 5d Mark II
Lens: 35 mm (first time doing a shoot with the 35 and I am in Loooooove!)
