Winter is a great time to do some photoshoots for yourself!!  And if you live in an area where you get snow, why not incorporate that into your concept!

Since I am in South Carolina, it rarely snows.  And when it does, it melts before I can get a model and get out and shoot.  So I was super excited to be able to shoot this concept when I was visiting Colorado for Conference 12!

Misti of Pink Fly Photo, Courtney DeLaura, our model and I traveled up into the Rocky Mountains to photograph this winter princess theme.  We were lucky enough to find a beautiful spot with snow, trees and mountains.  Our model was amazing and even though she was freezing, she didn’t complain!  We only took a few photos as we did not want to keep her in the cold any longer than necessary but I love how they turned out!

I would like to challenge you to get out and shoot in the snow!  Use the photographs and inspiration board below to inspire your concept shoot!  I would love to feature your photos too!!  So if you get out and shoot this concept, send in your photos for a chance to be featured on the blog!!  Concept Challenge submissions are due by February 15 for a chance to be featured!  Can’t wait to see how you interpret this concept!!
