Tell us a little about yourself…With faith and love defining life, Leslie is fueled by relationships and opportunities. Out of her determination to create and positively influence, she is proud yet humbled at the businesses she has built, all receiving top honors or high acclaim. She’s privileged to have some of the most talented artists and biggest hearts on her team. As she is given opportunities to build relationships with students, her goal is to capture their personalities and spirit in bright, stunning, well-styled portraiture. Leslie is above all else a mother, wife, and opportunity seeker. She spent her twenties traveling the globe, leading teams of students on life-defining trips, and making her reality one of great adventure and intention. Now into her thirties she’s married to her musician/set designing husband, mother to their two boys and beagle, and a bit more settled, but always chasing new ideas.
She is the proudest mother, a passionate dreamer, motivated doer, and relaxed artist. When not with her family or building her businesses, you can find her at her clothing boutique that she co-owns with her best friend, or spending time amongst a community of friends, driving her Jeep with the top off, and probably drinking coffee.

What is one tip you can share regarding senior photography? To remember two things… you need to know yourself as an artist first and not just going out and recreating what you have seen others shoot. As you are creating a life, a career, and your artist style, your goal should always be to create the life that you have always wanted… to be an original… which leads to greater respect for yourself and from others. Also to remember that the Seniors’ are counting on you to capture images that will define one of the biggest turning points of their lives. This year in their lives they are finding themselves and are highly influenced by others and through their experiences. We have been given the huge opportunity to leave a lasting impression on their lives – to help see themselves as beautiful and with confidence in who they are. I don’t want images that help girls feel “hot” but rather are full of life, personality, and are inspiringly stunning.
