Bringing your besties on your senior shoot can make your senior shoot that much more fun!  As was the case in this fun session below by photographer Katrina Boone of Gianna Grace Photography.

“We started Emily’s session hanging with a few of her besties at our local popsicle stand, The Hyppo,” said Katrina.  “Her momma and besties kept us both hydrated, lip glossed and snap chatted up with lots of BTS goodness!”

Check out this fun senior session below and read what else Katrina had to share about it.  Thank you so much for sharing your work with Seniorologie Katrina!!

2016-07-22_00082016-07-22_00042016-07-22_00112016-07-22_0006Can you share any post-processing techniques used when editing this session?
I do minimal editing. I always look to pop out color, yet stay true to the natural lighting and colors of our environment!

What is your favorite thing about this session?
Having Emily’s best friends hang out with us. Also the impromptu throwing of the Boganveelia flower petals.

What do you want this session to convey about this senior and about your senior photography style?
I hope this session really highlights Emily FUN-LOVING personality <3

What is one tip you can share with other photographers regarding photographing seniors?
Really take time in pre-consolation meetings to listen & capture their vision and who they are! Emily, Mom and I met at a local marketplace eatery before the session. We nibbled on appetizer and talked fashion, politics, college plans and life in general. This time together really helped me get an idea of who Emily was and what kind of session would highlight who she was! <3
