Total trust in a photographer is a photographer’s dream.  Having your client say to you ‘Just go for it’ really allows a photographer to create a unique shoot.

What was your inspiration for this photo shoot?
She sent us photos of her outfits ahead of time and we knew we wanted a mix of urban, modern and some down right country.

Where did this photo shoot take place?
We started out in downtown Baton Rouge, shot some down by the river and ended at my neighbors old homestead.  His barn has been there since 1817.  Eeeekkk

Did you collaborate with this senior to come up with the clothing and/or concept for this shoot?
We chatted, she was very open to anything.  We knew we wanted a mixture so we chose several locations.

Canon, 5D Mark III, 70-200mm, 2.8 and 85mm, 1.4

What time of day were these taken?
mid afternoon

Can you share any post-processing techniques used when editing this session?
Erin was pretty much flawless.  Her eyes were gorgeous, so basic exposure and really playing up her eyes

What is your favorite thing about this session?
Definitely Erin’s willingness and openness to whatever we had in mind.

What do you want this session to convey about this senior and about your senior photography style?
Our style is simple… Showcase the senior for who they are right now at this time in their life.  Have fun, be You!  We want all of our seniors to feel as beautiful and they look and know that they have that beauty within them:)

What is one tip you can share with other photographers regarding photographing seniors?
Make the session memorable.  Connect with not only the senior but the parents as well.  These relationships are what we base our business on.
