Most of the time I think of the mountains as a fall destination but it is also absolutely beautiful in the summer!  The beautiful landscape, the mountains as a backdrop and the summer sun setting are perfect for a senior styled photo shoot.  Especially when one of your favorite photog friends is coming to town all the way from Texas!

Collaborating and hanging with fellow photographers is a great way to get inspired, try something new or just bounce ideas off of each other.  So when Jared Rey of Jared Rey Photography said he was coming to Greenville, we jumped at the chance to create a magical mountain shoot together!  I’m pretty sure there are no mountains in Dallas, so I wanted to make sure to show Jared what awesome landscapes we had around my neck of the woods.  After showing him possible shoot locations such as the beach and the mountains, Jared said he had always wanted to shoot something in the mountains so our location was chosen!

Next we got to work on the look and feel of the shoot and created an inspiration boards for the models clothing.  Below is what we came up with.  Two looks:  camp ranger/camping casual looks and a more forest princess dress look.  Can’t wait to see how this turns out!!  Look out mountains and waterfalls, here we come!!
