Laura Winslow is a believer that you can absolutely do anything you put your mind to, as long as you dream big and often, are diplomatic and genuine and have plenty of gold glitter on hand. Laura’s ambition, drive and dreams have taken her from Capitol Hill, to the U.S. State Department, to living in Europe, to teaching high school Spanish for seven years prior to securing her most treasured position thus far, that as mother to her two sweeties, Jack and Addie.

Motherhood is one of the things that inspires Laura most as a photographer, and the motivation behind her desire to capture the true spirit of children, teens and seniors for their families and parents. Sometimes we don’t know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory, and photography is the gift that is able to capture the intangible and freeze it forever.

Laura is known for her colorful, fresh and unique style of photography and travels extensively for both portrait and commercial sessions and to teach fellow photographers at workshops. Her work has been featured in numerous international and national publications, among them Real Simple Magazine, Professional Photographer Magazine, Rangefinder Magazine, BabyTalk Magazine, ProPhoto Magazine and on QVC, as well as many others. Laura is also currently a Samsung Imagelogger and regularly blogs about and shares her experiences with her Instagram followers.

Laura has numerous blog features that are wildly popular among her readers, among them Pretty Little Packaging, where Laura shares packaging and presentation ideas for photographers and other business owners. Laura is looking forward to expanding upon this while at Conference 12 and sharing her belief that it is of utmost importance for businesses to have a cohesive and strong brand and to present their products well. Laura will be teaching a class called Pretty Little Business : Creating a Cohesive Look Through Blogging, Packaging and Branding.
