In person sales can be a little scary for some.  You may think, “I am not a salesperson!  So how can I do in-person sales?”

In today’s episode of The Seniorologie Podcast, I am sharing my 3 tips for successful in-person sales and how you don’t have to be “sales-y” to make the sale!!

Highlights from Episode 29:

• IPS Prep  – One of the most important things you can do to make your in-person sales session successful is to start prepping your client long before the actual order session!  Start as soon as someone inquires about a senior session with information that will help them know exactly what to expect through out the entire senior portrait experience including the order session.  By communicating, informing and creating excitement before you actual have the order session, your clients will be excited and ready to purchase.
• Create a IPS System –  Having a system for your in-person ordering sessions is key to making sure you provide everything you need in order to make the sale.  Determine where you will meet, how you will show the photos, what products you will offer and what samples you will have available.  Once you make these decisions you will be able to create a system that allows you to do your ordering sessions with ease.
• Ask for the Sale – There is a part in the ordering session where you have to be able to say to your clients, “so what would you like to purchase?”  This indicates to the client that they need to make a decision and make a purchase.  This may seem hard for some but if you follow the prep and system step and have items that show you are ready to take their order, this will be easy!
