Over the years, I have made plenty of mistakes when recruiting senior model teams.  And I see other photographers making the same mistakes every single year. So, I thought this would be a great topic for today’s podcast. In today’s episode, I am sharing three mistakes you might be making when it comes to recruiting models for your team. Not only will we talk about this mistakes, but we’ll talk about how to fix them so you get the best applicants possible!!

Highlights from Episode 41:

• Mistake 1 – Only posting on social media and not posting enough!!  Social media is such a great tool when it comes to marketing and recruiting for your senior spokesmodel team… But it is not the only tool you should be using. Plus, when we do use social media, we need to make sure we are using it the right way!
• Mistake 2 – Not utilizing our existing clients, models and audience!  Too often we focus on new people and overlook the fact that current seniors, current models and even moms can help us find new people to join our team!
• Mistake 3 – Not creating a deadline, sense of urgency or call to action!  Simply posting about your model team applications doesn’t prompt people to actually apply.  You have to give them a deadline, remind them of that deadline and close the applications to create a fear of missing out if they don’t apply!
