Where did this photo shoot take place?
This shoot took place in a field in Jessup, PA. There is also a small creek nearby.

Did you collaborate with this senior to come up with the clothing and/or concept for this shoot?
Yes, I told her to keep it soft as there was going to be a lot of green surrounding us. we used wildflowers to incorporate into the shoot.

What camera, lens or other equipment was used for this shoot?
I used my Canon 5D mark III along with my 50 1.2, 70-200mm.

What time of day were these taken?
one hour before sundown

Can you share any post-processing techniques used when editing this session?
Post processing is very minimal.  I used LR to smooth her skin and increase my contrast, sharpening.  I like a clean image that I do not have to do much too post.

What is your favorite thing about this session?
Alexa’s eyes were just amazing.  No PS enhancement there! Her smile was just so fun!

What do you want this session to convey about this senior and about your senior photography style?
Natural outdoor photography can be so much fun!  You don’t need tons of props to capture what moms really want!

What is one tip you can share with other photographers regarding photographing seniors?
Create a really great relationship with them first!  If they love you before your session, they are going to be that much comfortable and it will create that much more of a really amazing experience!
