If you live in the south like I do, then you know how beautiful peach farms are.  Flowers bloom right before the peaches start to appear, creating rows and rows of trees with gorgeous flowers.

In this session below, photographer Rebecca Williams of Rebecca Williams Photography took advantage of the gorgeous peach farm and created a beautiful session for her senior.

“Avery wanted flowers and a whimsical feel,” said Rebecca.

I think she got exactly what she wanted!  Great job Rebecca!

16What was your inspiration for this photo shoot?
Flower crowns were definitely the inspiration for this session. Avery wanted flowers and a whimsical feel.

Where did this photo shoot take place?
The photo shoot took place in Fredericksburg Texas at Fischer & Wieser.

Did you collaborate with this senior to come up with the clothing and/or concept for this shoot?
We did and we also used a beautiful flower shop to make the fresh flower crowns Blumen Meisters Flower Market in New Braunfels, Tx. And her makeup was done by Renee Lathers from Maekup by Renee in Shertz, Tx.

What camera, lens or other equipment was used for this shoot?
I shot this with a canon 60D and an 85mm 1.8 lense.

273What time of day were these taken?
About 4:30 in the afternoon

Can you share any post-processing techniques used when editing this session?
These were manual edits.

What is your favorite thing about this session?
My favorite thing about this session was the giant pine trees out of know where. I was so excited when we pulled up and I saw this huge grove of pine right on the edge of the orchard. This gave me two different looks.

What do you want this session to convey about this senior and about your senior photography style?
Avery is such a quiet beautiful girl, and I feel like these images convey that quiet, soft, and beautiful. As far as my style goes it is very rustic and bohemian but clean. I feel like that translates in these images. And I love flowers, you will see a flower crown in at least one of my images per session.

What is one tip you can share with other photographers regarding photographing seniors?
Find out what your senior wants from their session and experience with you and make that happen for them. This is an important time for them and if you go that extra mile to really listen to them you will have a happy client in the end.
