What was your inspiration for this photo shoot?
Casia (my senior) wanted to incorporate her family’s favorite vacation spot into her session. She has cousins from Encinitas and the beach there was quite beautiful.

I do my base edit in LR5 and my retouching and enhancements in PS CS6
What is your favorite thing about this session?
Shooting somewhere different! And we had a fun roadtrip there and back too 🙂
What do you want this session to convey about this senior and about your senior photography style?
Casia is a free spirit. She is beautiful and girly, yet she loves to hunt, fish, surf, and drive old trucks. She looks great both with makeup and au-natural.
What is one tip you can share with other photographers regarding photographing seniors?
Try new things! Make some road trips, and try out destination shoots. They will inspire you.
