What says summer more than strawberries and ice cream?  I love the idea of using these two very inexpensive, easy to find items as props for a summer senior photo session!  What fun!

What was your inspiration for this photo shoot?  We were finally starting to feel the wrath of the Mississippi Summer, & I started thinking about all the different fruits that would be ready at the fruit stand, so I suggested to Elizabeth doing her Senior portraits there & she loved the idea!

Where did this photo shoot take place?  Local fruit stand & a field in Jackson, MS.

What time of day were these taken?  6:00pm

What is your favorite thing about this session?  My favorite thing about this session is how natural Elizabeth looks in these photos. You can tell she had a carefree & confident personality.

What do you want this session to convey about this senior and about your senior photography style?  I absolutely love going all out for Senior sessions. I want the entire experience to be memorable for my Seniors, not just a few hours & some photos that will get put in a box. I love my Seniors & love establishing a friendship with them that goes beyond our session!

What is one tip you can share with other photographers regarding photographing seniors?  Laugh with them! Have fun with them! In this session, we both got ice cream, not just Elizabeth! Be their friend. That’s what really get’s them comfortable!
