Over the next few Mondays, we will be featuring the beautiful work of the speakers and masterminds behind the wildly successful Luxe in Las Vegas Workshop.  Why are we choosing now to feature these talented photographers?  Well, we actually have featured most of these lovely ladies in one way or another before, but the reason we are doing this now is to gear up for a big announcement that I think you will all be excited about! 🙂  Hint, Hint…beautiful weather, gorgeous models and a dream team of photographer teachers.  Be sure to check out the coming weeks’ Monday Senior Photographer Spotlight and watch for the big announcement!

First up in the Senior Photographer Spotlight Series is Kelli France.  Kelli is the creator of France Photography and Chic Critique Forum.  This girl does so much for this community and she is so sweet!  I have spent time with her at workshops, in Vegas and more and she genuinely wants to help the photography community.  She and I are both lovers of fashion and often share inspiration with each other! 🙂  Check out this beautiful session below of Kelli’s Senior Models and read what Kelli had to share about this shoot!

What was your inspiration for this photo shoot?
Summer! I wanted a fun, beachy feel to the images so I created this Pinterest board with tons of ideas for my vision

Did you work with this senior to help create the wardrobe for this session? Yes I styled my Sr. Models at a local Boutique that let us borrow outfits for the shoot. The girls LOVED that!
Where did it take place?  Utah Lake. It’s the closest thing to a beach that we have in Utah.
What equipment was used during this shoot?  I used my Nikon D700 with my 85 mm lens the entire time. The 85 lens is like budda. We also brought lots o’ props including the Tiki table, the colorful sodas, straw hats, and my pink beach cruiser.
Can you share any post processing tips used when editing this session?  I cull images in Bridge by rating them with stars (5 being my faves) and then pull them into Lightroom to save myself time. When I was done doing basic editing in Lightroom, I then open them in Photoshop and batch edit with a Sharpen action and Noiseware to smooth the skin a bit.
What is your favorite thing about this session?  That we had SO much fun and it shows!
What do you love most about senior photography?   My mission is to help teens look good > feel good > do good. If you I make them feel confident about themselves, then I’ve done my job.
Kelli also shared this AWESOME video from her shoot!  Enjoy!!
