Today’s Fashion Friday is from Seniorologie’s Fashion Contributor, Madison Luikens. Check out what she has to say about incorporating denim into your senior photo session. If you are a photographer, be sure to pin it so your seniors can be inspired before their session!
August is almost over, and for most of our seniors, that means the summer vacations are slowly coming to an end as they prepare for their last first week of high school.
A few items on the agenda could include: school supply shopping, 1st day wardrobe selection, writing many a college application essay and planning the ultimate senior prank, to name a few!
With back to school shopping in mind, and the inspiration I found from my NYLON magazine during our flight home from Montana, today’s fashion post is all about denim!
I love denim because it is so versatile, and never goes out of style. You can look as classic as a J.Crew model, or as punk rock as a 90’s grunge band. And the great thing is there are now more ways to incorporate denim into a wardrobe than just a simple pair of jeans!

Encourage your seniors to find a denim piece that truly reflects their personality!
Jackets, shirts, vests, skirts, overalls, shorts… the selection is almost endless! You can find color-block denim, dark denim, acid wash denim, pattern denim, waxed denim, studded denim, ripped denim…
I’m loving the color-block denim shirt! I’d probably pair it with a black denim skinny jean and some cognac boots!
