Last week I shared with you the inspiration behind the Gossip Girl Themed Luxe Workshop wardrobe.  I loved the clothes I had picked out and they went perfectly with the theme.  However, American Airlines had a different plan in mind for the wardrobe! 🙂

Sometimes you have to just make it work, and that was definitely the case with my models clothing!  I had all the clothes for the models in my suitcase which was unfortunately stuck in Dallas, Texas when it needed to be in Las Vegas!  Lucky for me, our location for the workshop was right across the street from a mall!!

Speed shopping with one of the model’s moms and attendee of the workshop, proved to be extremely successful thanks to Forever 21.  With the theme and the models in mind, we walked to the mall, went straight to Forever 21 and started pulling looks for the girls!

The result was lots of sequins, tulle and leather which was perfect for the Gossip Girl Theme!  It just proves that even though you have a certain theme or concept in mind, doesn’t mean your original idea will be the one you use.  Being able to be flexible helps and the result was just gorgeous!!
