Using Pinterest to inspire your seniors on what to wear for their photo sessions is a no-brainer!  It is such a great place for seniors to see what you suggest they wear and they get a visual on what works for photo shoots.  Creating a board just for Senior Fashion is easy to do and is a great way to make suggestions for what to wear.

But why not take it a step further and create boards specifically for certain types of styles?  In my pre-session questionnaire, I ask the girls what type of fashion they like.  I ask them to check the style that fits them.  Things like Southern Belle, Bohemian, Pretty Preppy, Chic & Casual, Cute Hipster or Urban Princess are all choices that can help me determine what type of style that senior has.  And by creating boards that match these style profiles, I can send them direct links to the ones that I know will inspire them specifically.  You could also create boards by season.  Have a specific Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer board that helps clients know what to wear in whatever season their session is in.

Today, I am highlighting the Pretty Preppy Look.  This to me, is a look that is classic.  This girl is someone who loves stores like Jcrew and Madewell.  When I think of this type of look, I think of cute sweaters and fun skirts or classic pants with a fun top.  I think of classic colors such as navy, cream, black, gray and classic patterns like stripes.  This look can be modern by pairing something classic with something fun or you can punch up a classic outfit by pairing a bright color with a classic one.  This is a look that can be dressy or casual and it can definitely be used in fall, winter, spring or summer.  Check out the inspiration board below and be sure to follow Seniorologie on Pinterest!  Pin these fashions and more so your seniors will know exactly what to wear for their beautiful senior portraits!
