I am so excited to finally announce the winners of the Seniorologie Best of the Year Awards 2019!!  There were so many amazing images entered and every one of you should be very proud of the work you produced!!  I am in awe of all the talent in the senior industry!!

Thank you all for allowing Seniorologie to share in your journey as a senior photographer.  I hope to make this an annual contest that celebrates the wonderful images and the photographers who took them in an effort to support each other and push each other to constantly grow as photographers.  Seniorologie is a community of support and inspiration and this image contest is just one of the ways we hope to support you and reward you for your continued hard work in this industry!

This magazine represents the 50 Best Images from the Seniorologie Best of the Year Awards 2019.

And now for the winners…

These winners were chosen by our judges who took time out of their busy schedules to carefully look and score every single image entered.  The top five scores in each of the ten categories are awarded as winners for a total of 50 images.  This contest was about the 50 best images not about the 50 best photographers so there are some photographers who won in more than one category.  The judging was anonymous meaning that the judges did not know whose image they were judging so they strictly concentrated on the image and scored it in four criteria – impact, relativity to category, creativity and technical merit.  Each image could receive a score of 1-10 in each category.  Those scores were added up for a total per image.  The cover image was the image that scored the highest total score of any image in the contest.  If you have any questions, please email Leslie at info@seniorologie.com
