Wow!! I can’t believe it has been three weeks since Conference 12 in Scottsdale, Arizona!! When I think back on our time in Arizona, one word comes to mind…GRATEFUL!!!! Grateful for the AMAZING speakers we had, grateful for the WONDERFUL attendees who trusted us with their education, grateful for the AWESOME sponsors who gave such amazing gifts and especially grateful for my SPECTACULAR partner in crime, Courtney DeLaura without whom this event would not have been possible!
I have hosted many events through Seniorologie and they have all been great. But Conference 12 was truly amazing. There was such a since of support, so much inspiration from the speakers and the attendees and a beautiful feeling of community. As we all know, sometimes sitting at the computer all day by yourself can be lonely in this profession. So to be a part of a Conference that truly gave photographers the opportunity to meet others who share the same interests was so rewarding because I truly feel we are all friends now and I hope the attendees feel that way too!!
This event proved to me that the speakers we choose for these events are so important. I have always wanted to make sure to not only pick talented speakers but speakers who are not afraid of giving attendees information. Speakers who are truly there to help others is the most important criteria when I search for the right people to teach. And the speakers at Conference 12 not only fit this criteria but exceeded it ten fold!! I can not thank Brittney Kluse, True Moau, Spanki Mills, Misti Davis, Jared Rey, Laura Winslow, Becki Crosby, Kelly Cowieson, Olivia Renee, Geni Bean and Courtney DeLaura for not only being a part of this event but being accessible to every single attendee and truly showing they care about each and every attendee!!! The right people at this event was the key to it’s success and I will never forget what these wonderful photographers did in Scottsdale!! I love you all!!
To the attendees, I honestly don’t have the words to adequately describe how wonderful you all were!! Each and every one of you were happy to be there and it showed every single minute of every single day! And as an organizer of this event, seeing your smiling faces, soaking up all the education you could was a delight to see!! It fills my heart to know that each one of you trusted us to provide an event that would give you exactly what you wanted and to now be able to watch every single one of your business’s grow! I know with all my heart that you will each be successful and you will build the business of your dreams!!! I will forever be here for you should you ever need anything!!
