The Seniorologie Podcast Episode 18 – Revamping My Website + 10 Essential Elements Every Senior Photography Website Needs to Convert Visitors Into Clients

In this week’s episode, I am sharing with you the process of revamping my photography website, why it was time for a revamp and what I included.  Plus the 10 Essential Elements every senior photographer should include in their own website!

Updating my website was a process that took about six months.  But through that process, I not only learned what my seniors wanted to see, but what I wanted to share with potential clients to help them decide on working with me.  I learned a bit about myself along the way and I feel like this site is the most ME!  I really showcased my brand and personality and I think it is shining through on this current site.

I wanted to take you inside why I chose the copy I chose, what pages I decided to feature and what I put on them, how my new site is so much better than my old one and what you can put on your site to not only attract your ideal client but get them to take action and book with you!

• Why I Decided To Update My Website – I put it off for so long but I knew that continuing to ignore my old site was going to hurt my business.  Senior photography website need to stay current because seniors are so interested in current things.  A website needs to be updated often in order to stay fresh and attract your target market…seniors!
• Tools I Used To Update My Site – I have used templates, custom designers and now I have come full circle back to the template world.  Why did I choose this route and what did I use to make my new website possible?  I share all the tools in this episode.
• A Page By Page Tour – I take you through each page of my new site and explain what I included and why!  This will hopefully help you with your own site and provide inspiration for what to include on your own website pages.
• 10 Essential Elements – I go through every element that I think senior photographer’s need on their sites and why!  And I have created a FREEBIE below to help you with these elements.
• Challenge – I challenge you to print out the FREEBIE and use it as a checklist to take a look at your current site.  Which of these elements do you have and what do you not have on your site?  When you are ready to update your own site, be sure to include all 10 elements!
