I love seeing everyone’s images!  It is so inspirational and I think it pushes us all to do the best we can do!  So in that spirit, Seniorologie is hosting a new Image Contest!  This one will be a monthly contest with a different theme each month!!  These themes will be very broad so you will be able to use your creativity.

The images can be from a senior session you have already photographed or it could be a wonderful opportunity for you to push yourself to create an image just for you!  As we all know, practice is key to improving our photography skills no matter what level we are in our business.  So use this as an opportunity to get out there and shoot!  Growing is learning and practicing our craft is the key to this!

This month’s theme is FALL!!  It is such a beautiful time to photograph a senior!  The leaves are changing, the light is beautiful and the new fashion is out! 🙂  My great friend, Brittney Kluse, created this inspiration board for this contest to inspire you to use things that scream fall.  Have the senior wear a scarf (great prop and gives them something to hold!), use the beautiful fall colors for a backdrop, use texture or layers…the possibilities are endless!

So what do you win??  If you have read this blog long enough, you notice a group of photos at the top of the blog each time you log on.  This header is getting a little face lift and will be the perfect place to display the lucky winners’ photos…FOR A WEEK during the month of October!!  There will be four winners and each winner will grace the header of The Seniorologie blog and Facebook for one week during the month.  Four winners equals a new photo each week for the header.  Just think, all your friends, family, fellow photographers could see your photo every time they read the Seniorologie blog!!  Who doesn’t want bragging rights like that? 🙂

How do you enter??  Entering the contest is simple.  Take or decide on a photo to submit.  Go to Seniorologie’s Facebook page and be sure you “Like” us.  From there, click on the Image Contest Tab and fill out the form.  Only one photo per photographer can be entered.  The top four entries will be decided upon by our panel of judges and each of these four will get one week as the featured photographer/image on the header of the blog.  See all the details, inspiration board and dates for the contest below!
