What was your inspiration for this photo shoot? Bracelets, Popcorn & Carnivals! I thought we could really have some fun putting these items together.
Where did this photo shoot take place? At our local carnival grounds in a small town on Maryland’s Eastern Shore
Did you collaborate with this senior to come up with her wardrobe for this shoot? Since this senior was on vacation, her wardrobe was limited. Lucky for me she had gone shopping the day before so we had a few cute outfits to choose from.
Can you share any shopping information with regards to the clothing worn in this photo shoot? I knew we had to stick in the primary color range. Her yellow top perfectly coordinated with both the white and green buildings as well as the red and blue tile-a-whirl. We also scored when we found those cute popcorn containers at Target!!
What camara, lens or other equipment were used in this photo session? I used my 5DII, 50mm f/1.2 L lens and natural light
What time of day was this shoot? Since this was the end of July, we shot around 6:30pm
Were there any special post processing techniques used on these photos? I just used my regular clean post processing.
What is your favorite thing about these photos? The colors and of course the popcorn!
What do you want these photos to convey about this senior and about your senior photography business? I love that this session shows her true personality. That’s what I love about photographing seniors…showcasing their personality. I want Mom and Dad to look back on these years from now and remember these precious memories.
What is one tip you could share with other senior photographers? Never stop learning and be true to yourself!
