We don’t get a ton of senior guy sessions submitted but we sure love them when we do!!

And we love this session below that showcases an entire team of guys!

“I had done portrait sessions for some of these guys and then a couple of moms approached me to do a concept session with all of the senior football players, ” said Mandy Evans of Mandy Evans Photography.  “Not only was this too much fun, but all of these boys were once in my 6th grade art classroom when I was still teaching!”

What was your inspiration for this photo shoot?
Tough, Rugged, handsome, strength, friendship, bonds

Where did this photo shoot take place?
We were lucky enough to be granted access to the Ozark High School Football Stadium.

Did you collaborate with this senior to come up with the clothing and/or concept for this shoot?
The “organizing” mom loved the idea of the field, I wanted to incorporate an actual activity for them to do.
The class of 2015 also had the chance to befriend a foreign exchange student this year. We was part of the team, and I am thrilled they will all have these images!!

Can you share any post-processing techniques used when editing this session?
keep it clean

What is your favorite thing about this session?
I really loved watching them interact with each other, chase each other, the dog piles and how they each showed their own personality when I asked them to go get “practice” clothes on for the tug of war images. I’m not sure I’ve ever worked with such an enthusiastic group before!
The guys had such a good time, I was asked to do a senior session with our Senior Baketball players as well!

What do you want this session to convey about this senior and about your senior photography style?
The memories and moments. THIS is why we are photographers, to freeze time and capture seniors just how they are!

What is one tip you can share with other photographers regarding photographing seniors?
Don’t be intimidated to try something new!
