What’s better than finding out a coworker has an awesome turquoise VW bus?  That’s exactly what inspired this beautiful senior shoot by Kirstie of Kirstie Kay Photography in Texas.

What was your inspiration for this photo shoot?
I wanted to do something fun and creative for my seniors this year! When I found out a girl I work with at my 2nd job had a VW Bus I KNEW i had to have it!!! I wanted something fun, hip, and a little boho and I think we wrapped it all up pretty well in one session!

Did you collaborate with this senior to come up with the clothing and/or concept for this shoot?
I made a pinterest board for outfit inspiration for my seniors and then they had that to go off of for their clothing option! They all turned out looking AMAZING!

EVERYTHING!
4 beautiful girls, an amazing bus, a BEAUTIFUL East Texas day (which was a miracle after a full month of rain and one reschedule) and a whole concept that came together beautifully

What do you want this session to convey about this senior and about your senior photography style?
THIS is what I want to do! I absolutely LOVE shooting seniors – I love the light, airy feeling of these pictures and I hope that people can see how much I absolutely enjoy doing this!

What is one tip you can share with other photographers regarding photographing seniors?
HAVE FUN and be confident! If you are having fun they will be too!
