What was your inspiration for this photo shoot?
I was inspired by Molly’s long bohemian dress for the final shots with the boat and greenery. I feel that these are very whimsical and fairytale-like, which is exactly what I was going for.

Where did this photo shoot take place?
We started the shoot at the Walls Family Tree Farm and finished it at my property.

Did you collaborate with this senior to come up with the clothing and/or concept for this shoot?
Yes, I always work with my seniors to help them choose their outfits. Then, I plan the locations based on the outfits.

What camera, lens or other equipment was used for this shoot?
Canon 6D. 85mm 1.8f

What time of day were these taken?
2 hours before sunset

Can you share any post-processing techniques used when editing this session?
I used lightroom and VSCO presets.

What is your favorite thing about this session?
I am obsessed with the shots of Molly in the grey dress.

What do you want this session to convey about this senior and about your senior photography style?
I want this to show seniors that they can have more than one style. I also think it shows that me as a photographer, can have more than one style as an artist.

What is one tip you can share with other photographers regarding photographing seniors?
Work with your seniors beforehand to figure out what they want for their session, customize  a session for them. This makes for a happy senior and a really fun shoot!
