What was your inspiration for this photo shoot?
Andrea is a dancer and I knew I wanted to do something that combines the hardscape of the city with the softness of a ballerina.

Parking garage in downtown Ft. Pierce

I LOVE parking garage lighting. Not only is it beautiful, but it’s easier to plan with less chance of canceling because of bad weather.

What do you want this session to convey about this senior and about your senior photography style?
I think this session conveys that young women can be strong & confident and beautiful & feminine at the same time. Andrea is all of those things! I love to work with natural light and this session took advantage of the beautiful light of the location.

What is one tip you can share with other photographers regarding photographing seniors?
Always keep talking to them throughout the shoot, giving them encouraging words all along the way. They want to know they are doing a good job for you! Don’t tell them if you don’t like a particular pose or set up, just move on to the next thing.
