“Every year we try to come up with a fun and unique theme for our Senior Spokesmodel Group Shoot.  I work closely with Swoon Vintage Rental Company and we decided to try a cute tea time theme,” said Shannon.

Where did this photo shoot take place?
You would have never guessed…but this session took place in a cemetery!

Did you collaborate with this senior to come up with the clothing and/or concept for this shoot?
I collaborated with the girls through a closed Facebook page to make announcements and post inspiration pictures. I also started a Pinterest board where the girls could go for outfit/makeup/hair inspiration or to post their own ideas.

Nikon D700, Nikon 50 1.4mm, Nikon 85 1.8mm

What is your favorite thing about this session?
My favorite thing about this session is the fact that the girls became such good friends after the shoot! They even pitched in to help make the photo booth props! I also loved collaborating with Natalie from Swoon Vintage Rental Co. (www.swoonvintagerentalco.com) to come up with the style and look of this vintage tea party shoot!

What do you want this session to convey about this senior and about your senior photography style?
I really wanted to convey the whole experience of booking with Shannon Kaeding Photography for your senior portraits. I love that the photos show off my fun, light hearted style and colorful tact sharp images!

What is one tip you can share with other photographers regarding photographing seniors?
Plan ahead! Make sure you make a list of everything you need to make, everything you want to bring and everything you want to shoot.  Once you get to that shoot thing get crazy and sometimes
