Our Fashion Contributor, Madison Luikens of Madison Cary Photography, decided to do something a little different with today’s Fashion Friday post.  She sat down with one of her seniors, Jordin, a 2014 Senior at Midland High School, and interviewed her to get her opinion on fashion and senior style.  Check it out below.

Help us get to know you! describe yourself in 3 words: Fun, outgoing, athletic.

How would you describe your style?  Trendy but not too hipster.

How did you go about selecting your outfits for your session?  I thought about my personality, which is fun, so I choose bright colors and something that would compliment my skin.

Where do you find fashion inspiration? magazines, musicians, movie stars… Magazines and from my trendy cousin who is 21.

Where is your favorite place to shop? What are your favorite stores?  The Boutique, Julian Gold. (both local shops). Also Target, Anthropologie.

What was your favorite outfit from your session? and why?  Probably my white dress with boots. White is a very plain color which describes me! I’m a very pain Jane type of person!

Do you have a favorite fashion magazine?  17 Magazine

Who is your fashion idol/icon?  Blake Lively. She is just gorgeous.

What is your “go-to” outfit?  Nike shorts and a big t-shirt.

What is your favorite article of clothing/accessory in your closet right now?  All my oversized t-shirts, I have an obsession with clothes 3x my size

What is your favorite fashion trend right now?  LEATHER

What advice would you give to other seniors as they plan their outfits for their session?  Be yourself and choose something that fits your personality and not try to be someone your not!
