Layering is a great thing for fall senior photos because it provides visual interest as well as gives your senior variety.  When clients wear layers, it allows you to take many different photos from just one outfit.

Ponchos are a big trend this fall and are a great layering piece.  They come in a variety of different styles and can be perfect no matter whether your senior is boho or glam.  In the inspiration board below, you can see how adding a poncho to a sequin skirt can give an outfit a pop or adding leather to some classic pants can take that outfit to glam.  Of course, a poncho can always be paired with jeans for a casual look with a bit of flare.
