If you are one of our newsletter subscribers, you were let in on our exciting secret yesterday!  But for the rest of you, we wanted to share OUR BIG NEWS!!  We are hosting a Seniorologie Shoot Out in Nashville, TN January 31, 2015 and we want YOU to join us!

As the FIRST senior-only inspirational and educational blog to bring you in-person education through our tours and shoot outs, we are giving you another chance to learn and build your portfolio through our very popular Seniorologie Shoot Outs!  A Shoot Out is a one day event that allows attendees to learn through education and photograph completely styled senior models to gain amazing images for your portfolio!  We do all the work for you, get the models, find the perfection location, create the amazing concepts, all while teaching hands-on techniques to help photographers take their senior business to the next level.

The Nashville Shoot Out will be held in a beautiful studio that will allow us to teach something new….studio lighting!  Not only will attendees get the chance to shoot natural light both indoors and outdoors, but they will also have the opportunity to shoot with studio lighting giving you the opportunity to broaden your experience and be able to offer your clients a more well-rounded experience.  By mastering both natural and studio lighting, you will be able to photograph in any situation with any lighting.

Brittney Kluse of Brittney Kluse Photography, Courtney DeLaura of Get Schooled Photo and Leslie Kerrigan of Seniorologie and Leslie Kerrigan Photography will be leading the attendees in two parts – education and shooting.  The morning will be spent in small group business mentoring sessions where attendees will dig deep into their businesses and get help from each speaker on how to improve their business.  Topics such as finding your style and editing for that style, building collections and pricing them right, marketing and getting your calendar filled, adding a style closet and preparing your clients for their sessions so they show up ready to have an amazing experience and so much more!!  Each group will get an hour with each speaker to talk about what that speaker excels at and attendees will get information about what they need.  This will be personalized education for attendees!

After lunch, which will be provided, attendees will shoot in small groups giving everyone the opportunity to gain tons of amazing images of our styled shoots.  Like Seniorologie is known for, this Shoot Out will have amazingly styled models all inspired by the various looks of Nashville’s Country Princess, Taylor Swift!  From her country casual to her glammed up red carpet to her hip video style, we will have models representing all of these amazing looks!  Check out our Pinterest Inspiration Board below to get an idea of all the amazingness that will be photographed at this event!

Registration for this event will be LIVE Monday, September 15 at 9:00 AM Eastern Standard Time right here on the Seniorologie Blog. Seats are limited to 30 attendees and will sell fast. So mark your calendars for Monday, September 15 and be ready to purchase! The intro price is $375 and will be available for the first two weeks. After that, the price increases to $450. So be sure to purchase on the first day to not only make sure to get a seat but to make sure you get the intro price!
