Today’s review comes from a second time speaker…Amii Wroblewski first spoke at the Dallas Tour and we loved her so much for her openness and kindness that we couldn’t wait to have her back for another tour!!  (And another that is in the works! yay!)

I’m not certain where to begin with the Seniorologie Tour in Austin…this was my second time as a speaker and both times have been an incredible experience that exceeded my expectations!  Austin couldn’t have been a more perfect location for a bunch of photographers to get together to both learn and shoot…the culture, the weather, the food…it’s just a unique and vibrant city!

Leslie set up the meetings (and hotel accomodations) to take place at the CUTEST (and brand new!) place called Lone Star Court that was designed to look like a retro motel.  Between the retro full-size fridges in the rooms to the mod furnishings, it was just one of those places that made you happy to be at!  In fact, the hotel grounds were a photographer’s location playground…so many nooks and crannies with bright pops of color everywhere!  One of two of our scheduled shoots were at the hotel and it was the perfect backdrop for the colorful outfits our models were wearing!  The other scheduled shoot took place in the popular S. Congress area of Austin which has a very boho, funky, music-fest vibe to it…and again, Leslie hit it out of the part with the outfits our models wore that day.

The education was top-notch from all the speakers and I myself spoke on Client Management, where the attendees learned about how valuable a workflow is, the power of great customer service, and educating our clients.  I know that between my presentation and the other speakers’ presentations PLUS the two days of styled shoots, the attendees walked away with a very well-rounded education!

Speaking of attendees, this group of ladies were so polite and respectful but all of them knew how to have fun!  There was so much laughing and uplifting attitudes that you couldn’t help but walk away from the whole experience knowing you made new friends and fond memories!  And I have a huge shout-out for the speakers…these women are not only phenomenal photographers and business-women but are some of my closest friends!  Getting five different successful photographers in one room can be hit or miss but I know that we all have a huge amount of love and respect for one another…in fact, they are now my step-sisters for life!  Between the crazy amount of laughter, late-night talks, and the infinite number of hashtags that were created from this trip, we already are making plans for a reunion!  Love and miss you girls!!!
