Being new to my area and new to photography world/business has its own obstacles. If I had the chance to learn from the best, I could be the best! This is the jump start I need!
OH MAN 50 words. OK For me seniors wasn’t my first choice, I never knew how much fun it could be until I met with AH she changed my perspective forever. I’m so eager to learn and be the one you go to for senior photos. I know that I can do it now and I have the will power to prove it!
I feel it’s imperative to create work that resonates with people in a way that moves their heart to want to hire me. Since I don’t have a network of family/friends in my area to build my business on, I’m certain that Seniorologie will give me the edge I need!
Senior portraits capture such a poignant but exciting time in life- the end of childhood and the start of new adventures! I would love to specialize in this market and learn to create dynamic images that reflect both aspects of this milestone.
Senior posing, marketing, networking, lighting, OH MY!
What a weekend it would be, PICK ME! PICK ME! Learning from the best will be such a treat – my seniors will thank YOU for picking ME!!! Your wisdom, knowledge and cutting-edge techniques are just WHAT I NEED!!! PRETTY, PRETTY PLEASE!!!
I’ve fallen in love with senior sessions and I’m THIRSTY and HUNGRY to learn more, from the BEST. Through this discovery I feel alive and I’m so excited for seniors to experience ME. Photography, full-time job, husband, 2-year-old girl and 4-month-old twin girls… I CAN DO IT ALL.
I’ll twitter from @lsanderson105
This workshop would change my life as I feel it will provide the little oompf needed so that I don’t get sucked into the world of law and will continue following my dreams. I’m about to graduate from law school and pregnant with #3 – I feel led to stay home with my kids and continue running the business I have built. I do not want to bow to the pressures of society and go into law. I want to be my own boss.
Thank you!
I’ve been dying to break into the senior portrait business, but have no idea where to start. I’ve done a couple sessions over the past few years and love the one on one with seniors who are anxious to have their picture taken. Wish I could do it everyday.
I LOVE people….I mean love. I love photography just as much, and getting to photograph the beauty in every face makes me one happy camper. Every person is so unique, special, and interesting. God is truly amazing : ) I’m a wedding/family photographer and haven’t really done many senior pictures…SO, this would totally rock my world and my little business. It would be so rad to learn, share, and be surrounded by such great photographers…totally inspiring! Seniors seem so awesome…their energy, their youth, their excitement! Just the kind of beautiful faces I want to photograph. Thanks so much for giving away a seat! This will totally change someone’s life…maybe mine!
I would love to come to this seminar, my own senior portraits were done (many years ago) and they were horrible! I never want a senior to feel that way, they should feel beautiful and amazing inside and out. I think this seminar would make me feel even more confidant and in return make these seniors have a moment of beauty in the middle of so many life changes. It’s important to make them feel great and send them into the world full of confidence!
After 6 years doing senior photography, I’m ready to make some drastic changes. Attending this tour would revitalize me as a photographer by getting me out of my Michigan comfort zone and introducing me to some other amazing photographers. There’s lot of creativity and style waiting to be let out!
My name is Chevy Gil, founder of Chevy Chey Photography, and i live in Burkburnett, Texas. Currently my small business is helping pay for my Associates of Arts degree at Vernon College. The Seniorologie Tour would improve my skills, creativity, expansion and a step closer to my dream.
Going to this tour would radically boost my confidence as a senior photog! I’m primarily self-taught, through books, blogs, and watching others, so going to this tour would really help ground me in my chosen field!
I am focusing my business on Senior Portrait Photography. This is a new concept in my area. I am currently trying to educate my clientile. Seniorologie 2012 will give me the education and skills necessary to push myself and my business to achieve the goals I have set for 2012.
I have been a photographer for a long time. I just opened officially for business a year ago. I started out as a child and family photographer, and shot my first senior in October 2010. I fell in love!! Teens are all so unique and expressive! They all seem to have so many different looks, likes, hobbies, and attitudes and I just love shooting high school seniors. I launched my senior sub brand and have yet to see it take off like I would like to, so I think I could learn so much from all the seasoned pros!! I think it would be just amazing to be able to attend this tour and see all the awesomeness that will help me find my niche!
I am a 49 year old mom of nine and I just decided what I want to be when I grow up!! Your tour would help me tremendously with the technical aspects like lighting and posing but would also give me the self confidence to grow my small senior business.
I’m the kinda person that wants to get everything in place CORRECTLY before starting an adventure (like hunting for that perfect shot in camera, not spraying shots everywhere). Learning from some of the BEST photographers will help me define my business from the beginning, to have a long successful career.
Will I do more than dream of being THE senior girl photographer for my area? I get giddy about fashion, accessories and random locations. I desire to have balance in my life, with my kids & husband. I’m ready to learn how to get beyond dreaming it and DO it!!
I am focusing my business on Senior Portrait Photography. This a new concept in my area. I am currently trying to educate my clients. Seniorologie 2012 will give me the education and skills necessary to push myself and my business to achieve the goals I have set for 2012!
Weddings took over my business and seniors became secondary. They are covered in dust and need reviving. Photographing seniors makes my insides light up. When I started, I thought about the confidence booster it would be for them, not knowing how much they would give to me.
After shooting my son’s friends for free,
I know a senior in my lens makes me so happy.
But to avoid frustrated stridence,
I will need your great guidance.
Won’t you please help me out, Seniorologie?
I should get to attend because senior pictures started it all! My pastor’s family asked me to photograph their oldest daughter – my first official shoot. I gave it a whirl and fell in love! Now I photograph weddings, families, babies, engagements, and events, but seniors are my favorite by far!
Senior photography is always going to be around, and growing and changing. I love to tap into the minds of young adults to find their perfect “moment” to freeze it in time! Attending a Seniorologie Tour can give me the knowledge and tools to get me to that next stage!
50 word entry:
“There is NO WAY Senior•ologie Tour 2012 couldn’t change my business!! What a blessing to me & my future clients! My business is good, but I want it to be FANTASTIC! The tour will help organize my product offerings, my pricing, my workflow, as well as shooting & editing inspiration!”
As a girl I remember having my senior photos done and feeling like a model. I want to go above and beyond having the seniors feel like models, but make them look like one too. This experience can help me obtain this glamorous edge. I’m ready to rock it!
Being a young photographer (22) I know there’s still so much more I could learn and so many more ways I could grow. Since I ‘only’ specialize in senior girls, why not study under the top senior photographers. I’m ready to take myself and my business to the next level.
This is my thing, heart and soul. Working one-on-one with girls in this age group – I really shine. I have been able to mix my love of fashion with photography and further learning from talent in the field can only push me forward!Giving up wedding photography to pursue this hardcore!
I love giving young people natural, storytelling photographs! I’m passionate about learning and developing my craft. The Seniorologie Tour would be an inspirational experience for me, as an excited 19-year-old artist and business owner, to sharpen my skills, widen my horizons, and collaborate with my mentors.
I’m floundering in the big open sea
Of Senior Portrait Photography
With so many who offer just what I do
Why would they choose me, over you?
Feeling like another fish in the sea,
I need this tour from Seniorologie
To teach me to be, the best I can be!
Attending the Seniorologie Tour would help me make the necessary changes to my business in order to become THE Senior Portrait Photographer in my area. Senior sessions are my absolute favorite to shoot and the best work that I do, I would love to become a Senior-only business.
Now come on… wouldn’t a guys face look good in the middle of all the great talent that will be teaching at the tour? Being a new senior portrait photographer has it’s challenges and attending an event like Seniorologie Tour 2012 would give my business an advantage over other senior photographers in my area. But in all honesty I’d love to shoot with other senior photographers at an event like this… how cool would that be!
~CREATE ,INSPIRE, BE INSPIRED, BE REAL, GROW, TAKE RISKS, BE UNIQUE, BE ME~
Last year I was inspired by those words. I believed in them and wanted to live them. Life had its own plan. I’m ready to be all these things again. I KNOW Senior*ologie WILL help do that for me and my business.
When I was a Senior in high school I used the school photographer. Yuck! To say the lease I didn’t like them. I want to do something fun, edgy, fashinionable. I am just getting into Seniors and would love to go from ok to a must have senior photographer.
When you want to be the best- you must learn from the best! On my journey to making seniors my specialty- I want to learn how to make their images beautiful & experiences awesome! Learning the business from the best will help make mine better than the rest! S.E.N.I.O.R-O.L.G.I.E 2.0.1.2!
After two years in “the biz” I am completely rebranding and am going for the senior market! I’m SO excited, and nervous. To top it off, we are moving to Oklahoma from beautiful Hawaii (husband is military) so this would be the perfect chance to breathe new life into my business! LOVE you ladies and thank you for the opportunity!!
I am just starting to break into the world of professional photography and I think a seminar like this would help me fine tune my skills and develop new ones. I just love Holli, her story is such an inspiration. If I could learn from her I know I’d succeed.
I would love to opportunity to learn from the best in the business. I am always looking for ways to improve and evolve my work. I think Senior•ologie Tour 2012 would be just the thing I’ve been looking for to expand my business in a new direction.
This opportunity would change everything for me! I have been going back and forth deciding whether to drop my online teaching gig and Masters in Counseling to go full-time with my photography or not. I have been trying to juggle too many things for far too long. Even though I love weddings and families, seniors are my absolute favorite! They are fun and fresh, excited about the next stage of their life, and willing to really put everything out there for truly unique and edgy images. The idea of Seniorologie literally gives me the tingles and I am smiling ear to ear just thinking about April in Atlanta!
I feel that Senior portraits are an opportunity to capture a timeless, important chapter in a young person’s life. Being able to document that for a parent is priceless. Me being a parent, I would appreciate this opportunity to grow to so I can pass it on to my clients.
Senior portrait photography what more can I say besides, AMAZING! LOVE IT! And SO MUCH FUN! Attending the Seniorologie Tour could take my business in a sensational direction. It could very well be the big push my business needs to get me out of the factory and into the studio!
I would LOVE to be chosen because I’m new to senior photography and find it tough to learn new methods while being a full-time mom to 3 little girls. This would be such an awesome opportunity for me to get away and really focus on my art and learn TONS!
Senior portrait sessions make me come alive. They’re when I feel the most creative, comfortable and myself. I don’t want to be a wedding photographer just because weddings are what pay. To have my business be mainly based on seniors is my dream.
Senior photography is a passion for me. I love the feeling of knowing I just amped up the confidence of a young adult! It would be such a treasure to be in the company of these amazingly gifted speakers and to be inspired and challenged to be my best!
I remember a quote (paraphrase), you might have more than one wedding, but you’ll only graduate once. That made me realize how important it is to create an unforgettable senior experience. This workshop is an amazing opportunity that will give me the tools to provide that “unforgettable experience!”
I love the energy and possibility of what the future holds from Seniors. It is such a memorable time and probably the last time they will ever have professional portraits made until they have a wedding. I am always honored to be their chosen photographer and hope I am able to make them beautiful and proud of who they are. Yet, there is so much to learn! Exited for what this event would mean for me! Thanks!
I recently branched out into seniors and have been trying some of the new things I’m finding out there. I was surprised to find out that I am the only one doing senior reps and rep cards, among a few other things! I think given a little more learning I can totally revolutionize things here in my area and have an EDGE! Seniors are so much fun to shoot (with a camera!) – I love their energy and they actually STAY when I ask them to, unlike some of my furry subjects in my pet photography! 😉
I’ve learned all I can on my own these past 2 years. I feel so stuck, and this class would be everything I need to get my business in motion. This is my art, my passion! Help me make it a lifetime! I couldn’t want or need this more!
After soul searching and many different types of photography, I’ve set my sights on Senior Photography. I’m determined and excited! This workshop would certainly mean saving me from years of mistakes. It’s such an incredible opportunity! Thank you for considering me! I’m so ready! #jenbruss
I’ve always had an obsession with senior portraits!
So, being a photographer now…having been in the business… I really want to focus on Seniors and I’m just not sure how. Some of my best work is Senior Portraits and that’s because it certainly breeds my creativity. I’ve shot a good amount of musicians, and I like to think of seniors as little rock stars!
I would love to learn from the best! Pick me! 🙂
I have a HUGE passion for the youth, especially Seniors. I understand that stage of life. I want to EMPOWER seniors more than anything. SENIOROLOGIE will be a HUGE step in this new photography journey/business of mine. I’m so eager to LEARN to GROW be INSPIRED and to oneday GIVEBACK.
The last several years I have taken photos of everything but weddings. While I feel that I can be good at all of it I am ready to re-focus and specialize my photography to Seniors and be GREAT at it. Seniors are my strong suit and my joy. I want to do the transition right, perfect time for the tour!
I’m hopeful!
Today is my day!
That I’m off to Great Places
To Atlanta – one way!
I’m stuck in one spot
And I need this big shot
How to style, to pose
I’ll learn from THE pros!
Will I succeed?
Yes! I will indeed!
Because I attended Atlanta Seniorologie!!
I would love to get to a point where my business could support itself through ONLY seniors and weddings. I hope that a seat in your workshop would give me some new, creative ideas on driving my business in this direction.
I have heard from a lot of people that I would love doing senior photography. I know one of the keys to success is to get around those who have done what you want to do. I am very interested in learning the ins and outs of senior photography from some of the best in the business.
I am extremely passionate about capturing the entire client – personality, style, interests, etc. I enjoy getting to know each senior and love being able to taylor their session for them personally! I feel like learning valuable tactics from the leaders in the industry will help give me that extra pizzazz!
Canadian grads are missing out! Our neighbors south of the 49th parallel are having all the fun! I’m shocked at the relative absence of high school senior photographers on Canada’s West Coast! I want to fill that void on Vancouver Island. The Seniorology Tour is just what I need!
It would change my business for the better by opening up new doors of opportunity. I think education and keeping up with current trends is important to us as photographers. I would consider it a honor to get to learn from some of the best in the business!
Being a youth pastor’s wife, senior photography was a natural fit for me. Though my work with seniors started out of convenience, I quickly learned that I LOVE working with seniors. Being able to make a girl feel beautiful is so rewarding. I would love to attend this tour to better learn how to provide my girls with the best possible experience!
I want to be wonderful. A wonderful mom, wife and photographer.
Seniorologie would inspire me to capture, to edit, to reevaluate things that I don’t have the time or money to reevaluate. I hope to look through the lens and have new eyes, I want to see something that would inspire even the uninspired. Make me wonderful, great, good and inspired!
Photographed my first senior girl…loved it but wasn’t in “love” with the images. Bought PurPOSE, photographed my second senior girl…FELL IN LOVE. With only two seniors under my belt and huge aspirations I believe SENIOROLOGIE would help me achieve my DREAM of making a career in Senior Portrait Photography!
Attending Seniorolgie’s tour is exactly what my business needs. After shooting everything, Ive recently decided to shoot only seniors. Having the opportunity to access the invaluable information shared is something that will put my business in a position to offer my clients not only amazing images, but an amazing experience.
Hi I am Nancy and I want to attend the Seniorologie Tour 2012. I just rebranded my business and I am in LOVE with Senior photography. I am eager to learn from the best…Holli, Amanda, Lisa, and Courtney. Gorgeous stylish Seniors make my heart smile. I am in need to learn how to pose, market, and grow. And as I said earlier this year…I am going to set GOALS and stick to them, I am going to have CLARITY, I need to FOCUS, and I need to SET PRIORITIES! “I want to Fall down, mess up, get dirty, cry then….. Brush myself off, Laugh, Believe in myself as much as you do, take one step, get right back on that train… and REPEAT!”
This would undoubtedly change my business. Seniors are something I would LOVE to implement but I don’t know where to start. How do I jump into this market, how do I find the clients, how do I POSE? So many questions! This would change my entire business, not just seniors!
I am new to senior sessions, but I’ve found they can be so much fun! The kids bring lots of personality to the session; HOWEVER, the sessions can be intimidating because this is a poignant time in the senior’s life. I would love to opportunity to learn from the best in this niche!!
I’m working on finding my niche and am doing all I can to grow and learn. This workshop is an amazing collaboration of talent, and I’d love to be part of it. I’m not best or most deserving photographer, but I’ll work hard and make the most of this opportunity.
Ever woke up in a cold sweat from a nightmare about being late to a wedding, or worse, losing images? Yup, that was me. I’m ready to take on my true love, SENIORS! Seniorologie is just what I need to blow my clients away! Bring on teen rebellion and attitude!
I love senior sessions because it’s so fun to capture their excitement, joy and beauty. My style focus’s on capturing a special “moment” not just sitting and posing. Attending this tour will help navigate my learning more about photography, inspiration and creating photos/memories they’ll cherish forever!! PICK ME!!!!!
The tour will help heal and renew my heart. When I lived in Atlanta my daughter was stillborn. My passion for photography started with her and my business is a memorial to her. I am filled with HOPE and JOY about learning senior photography in the place my heart was broken.
I stumbled across Seniorologie just a few short weeks ago while searching for senior portrait inspirations. I spent that entire night reading in detail about every single Featured Photographer. I would be humbled to be a photographer that is as inspiring to you as you all were to me!
You can have all the talent in the world, but if you lack the business acumen it doesn’t do you any good. I need help turning my passion into a successful business. The opportunity to learn from such a talented and successful array of women is just too good an opportunity to pass up!
I’ve been working super hard for the last year to start my photography business and a trip to Seniorologie would prove extremely valuable to the growth of my business! I love to learn new photography skills and ideas, especially at workshops with other great minds!
I am new to the photography world and loving every minute of it! My favorite people to shoot are highschool seniors but unfortunately I haven’t been getting many senior clients. I’d love to learn how to market more to seniors and learn everything about senior portraits! So excited!
This tour means freedom and happiness. I’m so hungry to learn and gain confidence so that I may excel in my craft. The BEST senior photographers can help me do that. I adore shooting seniors and this tour will give me the tools I need to free myself from the ordinary and be extraordinary!
In the past two years I’ve transformed from just another Mom with a camera to running a boudoir studio. My business is all about the experience and my clients leave feeling beautiful. I want to learn how to create a similar senior experience from photographer’s who practice what they preach.
I want to learn how I can keep doing what I love oh so much (photographing seniors) for the rest of my life while being able to live comfortably. And, perhaps more importantly, I want to show senior girls how wonderful they are– both inside and out.
Senior sessions are super fun however I would LOVE to learn the in’s and out’s of them. I shoot a ton of families and kids but would love to start getting more senior sessions booked and I feel that the Seniorologie Tour would be an amazing way to learn this. I struggle with posing and variety of shots for seniors, especially with BOYS. I would love to learn all your have to offer and use it to better serve my clients! 🙂 Pick me!
This past year has been one of transitions: I moved here to Texas, started my business, had my fourth baby, and learned that I LOVE to take senior photos.
I’ve been trying many different approaches to getting “in” with the seniors (reps, Facebook, incentives, etc.); but honestly, this is a hard market to crack! Since I’m not from here, I am having a hard time really getting my name known, even though I believe that I have a fun look and product to sell. I have learned that marketing really does go far when you pull the parents into it, though. I would love to learn how to really differentiate myself from other photographers, and how to best position my business for success in the near and distant future. 🙂
Non-stop practice sessions and mini shoots were all i did after school my senior year last year, and finally i was confident to take my classes senior pictures, since then photography has become everything for me! this would really help inspire me and be a great learning experience and ill be ready for this years senior pictures in a whole new level!! Thank You!
I would LOVE to go to your workshop! Where I live, yearbook studios rule the Senior world and Seniors don’t even know about fashionable & affirming portraiture. Help me help young teens feel good about themselves and have the real them photographed. This experience would be such a gift to both me and the Seniors of my community.
I am 28 mother two 5 little ones and have been running a wedding photography business for 6 years. it’s been crazy to say the least, and truthfully, disappointing, headaches and too much time away from the people i love. I had the chance to photography an girl who is graduating, I used to babysit her 13 years ago! I said yes, and little did I know I was doing a “senior session” i am thrilled with the outcome, but aware, need some work! Just thought I’d try this out!
The education I’d gain would give me the confidence to know I CAN do this. I’m ready to believe in myself. Learning from the right people can turn my dreams into reality. The more I photograph, the more I realize I want to focus on Seniors and hopefully inspire them!
After shooting 6 seniors this past season, I have to say I’ve been bitten by the “Senior Photo” bug! This tour coupled with my love of photography and fashion is just what I need to jump start my business. I don’t want to be just another senior photographer…I want to learn how to be the senior photographer everyone is talking about!
Started biz in August;
Excited how quickly it’s grown.
Never expected how much
I’d love to
Offer portraits to
Raucous and shy seniors.
Occasional isn’t enough; I’d
Love for this to be my niche!
Outstanding inspiration is what I need,
Guidance from pros.
I need to attend Seniorologie!
Eagerly waiting!
Seniors rock at pushing my creativity to the edge and keeping me relevant. I love uncovering what their SENIOR year means to them and giving it back to them in awesome images. Seniorologie…Help me take it over the top!
My entry says 4:01am on the 9th, but it was actually 11:1pm on the 8th!
Seniors are at an incredible stage in their life. I want to show them their beauty from the inside out. I want them to look at the images and truly see how beautiful and unstoppable they are. It’s been a dream of mine to be able to show girls of this age how amazing they truly are.
This will help me develop faith in my skills as a photographer so i can capture a Senior’s true essence at a time when they are discovering their own individuality. I am looking forward to learning marketing strategies that I can use to push my business forward in an area where there is no demand (yet) for this type of photography. I am hopeful that the day would come when the mention of ‘Senior Portraits’ would not make people ask me ‘you want to take photos of senior citizens?’ 🙂

THANK YOU for the generosity. I would be honored to learn from the inspirational ladies in this group, and use that talent for showing the beautiful seniors in my community just how AMAZING they really are! Images as tangible evidence to the person they are, and hope to become.
I have been stuck in a creativity rut and I desperately need a new approach and view point to expand my world and move to the next level. I would also love to learn how to really differentiate myself from other photographers, and how to best position my business for success in the future.
It’s 11:57…oops! I am new to this industry and this summer found my passion in senior girls. As a teen, i was bullied and can attest to just how awful high school can be. I want to change that through my talent, to show girls just how beautiful they really are–on the inside and out. I want to make a difference!
In Australia senior photography means photography for ‘old’ people! So…try breaking into an industry that barely registers an eye blink! It’s hard! I have the motivation and skills and the desire to take Australia by storm – but I NEED something that will get me noticed – and you’re offering it!! HELP!! PLEASE!!
I live in Australia and dream of the day that we get Senior photography to be as big here as it is in the USA, I adore taking senior photos and would love the chance to hone my skills so that I can be one of the people to bring senior photography to the mainstream here!
Because the photography field is so saturated now it is imperative that you find your niche, educate yourself, and set yourself apart from the rest. This opportunity would allow me to do just that! Waiting anxiously!
