Tell me a little about yourself…
I am 24 years old and own a little house in Cincinnati Ohio. I am married and have 4 furry children. 3 dogs and one horse. I enjoy gardening, making things with my hands, and teaching. I am a perfectionist and a workaholic. Along with my full time photography business I run 2 photography magazines/blogs. Lemonade and Lenses and Belle Lumière.
How did you get into photography?
My mother is a photographer and you can say she is the one who sparked my interest.
Any formal training?
None. All self taught.
How long have you been in business?
I have been a professional photographer for 6 years but officially started my senior only business in 2010.
How long have you been photographing seniors?
I have been photographing seniors for 4 years.
What do you love most about photographing seniors?
I love the styling. I help each of my seniors style their whole session with everything from outfits, location, make up, hair and accessories.
How would you describe your photography style?
Simple, Sun-filled, & Film Inspired.
What’s in your camera bag?
Canon 5D Mark III, Canon 7D, Canon At-1 (Film), Canon 50mm 1.8 (Film), Canon 85mm 1.8, Lensbaby Composer Pro withith 80 Edge Optics.
What’s your favorite lens?
85mm 1.8 hands down.
