Beautiful countryside, southern hospitality and lots of new friends are all things I am experiencing at The Seniorologie Tour.  It all began yesterday, driving to Atlanta and then continuing 20 more minutes outside the city limits into a little community called Serenbe.  This picturesque community, which has been featured in many magazines, is the home for 27 senior photographers until Tuesday.  And no one wants to leave.

“Why wasn’t this workshop seven days?”  is the comment I keep hearing!  And I am questioning that myself!  This place is quaint, beautiful and perfect for the first stop on The Seniorologie Tour.

We started off with a bang by having a welcome party to get to know everyone.  Just hearing the lively chatter amongst all the attendees and speakers filled my heart and made me realize that putting this together was what I was meant to do.  You see I started out as an event planner and journalist.  So to put three of my loves together, writing (blogging), event planning and photography, really is a dream come true!

The Tour is giving so many such valuable information and I am just so happy to have brought all these people together!  I now have 27 new friends and can’t wait to see them all grow in their photography businesses.

There will be much more to come from Serenbe and the Tour.  But for now, enjoy these beautiful images of what we are surrounded by at the Inn at Serenbe.

And I am usually the guinea pig and they made me get in front of the camera to check lighting, etc….:)
