Brief Description of the Session…
I was about to launch my new Branding and Website and needed a Model for my new T-Shirts for my business. I photographed Mallory back in August and new she was a great choice. Once we finished shooting the T-Shirts I could not help but take advantage of an opportunity to head outside and do a little mini shoot!

My inspiration for this shoot was a Fall Rich tones

In a field behind my Office in Ridgefield, Washington!

Did you collaborate with this senior to come up with the clothing and/or concept for this shoot?
One day when driving to work I noticed a small random field on the corner of a dead end road and thought to myself wow those tones are to die for. So, as I was leaving my house for the Model Shoot I grabbed an outfit of mine that I thought would look amazing on Mallory and in that field!

12:30 PM

Can you share any post-processing techniques used when editing this session?
I went with a little more of a Vintage look for this shoot. When I finished my color edit I played around with the exposure and selective color adjustments to get the vintage look I was going for!

What is your favorite thing about this session?
The rich color tones!!! One day when driving to work I noticed a small random field on the corner of a couple roads and thought to myself wow those tones are to die for. I knew Mallory and the outfit would complete the look I was going for!

What do you want this session to convey about this senior and about your senior photography style?
I have a very bold style but love adding a vintage twist at times and this session was just that.

What is one tip you can share with other photographers regarding photographing seniors?
Take time to put together a Model Shoot and go out and have fun with it! I feel like it is great practice and no stress!
