What was your inspiration for this photo shoot?
Getting to know the Senior, she had a natural, fun and a sort of airy feel to her- I just had to find an amazing location to match!

Where did this photo shoot take place?
Maple Grove Canyon- Located in-between Scipio and Salina Utah, and Holden Ut.

Did you collaborate with this senior to come up with the clothing and/or concept for this shoot?
No, she showed up with outfit choices and we went from there!

Nikon D90, 35mm 1.8 Lens

6-8:30 PM

What is your favorite thing about this session?
I absolutely loved the mountainous/spring feel to this session! And of course, my GORGEOUS client!

What do you want this session to convey about this senior and about your senior photography style?
My goal for each session is to capture each Senior’s individual personality. No two clients are the same and I like each session to represent who the senior truly is. I cherish simplicity but love creativity and individuality. By combining all three I succeed at reaching my goal.

What is one tip you can share with other photographers regarding photographing seniors?
Relax and have fun with it! I used to get stressed about it, now I just crank up my music on my phone and jam out. I seem to get the best images when my clients are super relaxed and just having fun!
