What was your inspiration for this photo shoot?
The senior’s personal style dictated much of the fashion, posing, and processing.

Where did this photo shoot take place?
Twin Ports of Duluth, MN and Superior, WI

Did you collaborate with this senior to come up with the clothing and/or concept for this shoot?
Yes. All of the clothing and accessories were purchase and brought by the senior. All of the locations and posing were styled based on the vibe she projected.

What camera, lens or other equipment was used for this shoot?
Nikon D800, 70-200mm, 24-70mm, prism

What time of day were these taken?
Afternoon and early evening

Can you share any post-processing techniques used when editing this session?
I am a clean processor, with just a bit of filmy matte when the image calls for it.

What is your favorite thing about this session?
How perfectly *her* these images are. She likes what she likes and wears what she wants, and had a clear vision for how her images should look.

What do you want this session to convey about this senior and about your senior photography style?
Fierce independence, being true to yourself and style.

What is one tip you can share with other photographers regarding photographing seniors?
Get to know them personally. Learn how to flatter different body types.
