Seniorologie is finally on Pinterest!!  I hope you will follow us and see all the inspirational things pinned by Seniorologie and hopefully they will inspire you in your photography and in life!!

To celebrate the fact that Seniorologie is on Pinterest, we are having a little contest!  This is a chance for you to be inspired by some of our boards, submit your images and have a chance to have your work featured on Seniorologie!!

Here is the scoop…

1.  Follow Seniorologie on Pinterest – Just click here

2. Share that Seniorologie is on Pinterest on your Facebook – “One of my favorite blogs Seniorologie is on Pinterest!!  Check it out”

3.  Check out the two Summer Boards we just added – Summer Pop and Summer Road Trip

4.  Pick your favorite board and use the images pinned as INSPIRATION for your own photo shoot.

5.  Shoot YOUR photos and submit your favorites from YOUR shoot to info@seniorologie.com.  Images must be of seniors (ages 16-19) and must have been taken by you.  Images can be captured during a concept shoot or an actual senior shoot.

The top three submissions for each board will be featured on the blog and the fans can vote on their favorite from each category.  The winners from each category (2) will receive a special feature on Seniorologie highlighting the shoot and their photography business including an interview!!

Because this is something that may take some time to put together, I am going to give you a longer deadline than most contests.  Images must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. on July 20.  Submissions will be narrowed down and the top three for each category will be on the blog for voting on July 23.

The Boards

There are two boards to choose from, both with summer being the main theme.

Summer Road Trip is all about the fun everyone has driving to their summer vacation destination.  The road trip is such an awesome memory of mine and I think it is a great way to be inspired for a summer senior photo session.  Use maps, cars, luggage, cameras, etc as props to illustrate this theme.  Be creative!  You don’t have to be literal so use your imagination to come up with your own cool summer road trip shoot!

Summer Pop is all about pops of color, sun and texture!  This board was inspired by the beautiful summer hues of watermelon, orange and lime!  Popsicles, ice cream shops, beaches and more can serve as backdrops for this category.  Use colorful props like ribbons, crepe paper, popsicles and much more to bring to life this inspiration.  Be creative and use your imagination to create your own Summer POP photo shoot!!

Whichever board you are most inspired by, use it to create a fun, summer photo shoot!  Shooting just for you is always so rewarding, trying new styles, experimenting with light or just letting your creative juices flow are all benefits to doing concept shoots or shooting just for you.
