A little over a week ago, I traveled to Seattle to teach a class on Creative Live. I am still pinching myself and thinking…did that really happen? Ever since I set out on my photography journey, teaching on Creative Live was a dream of mine but never did I think it would be a reality. It was one of those big, crazy, never-will-come-true-thoughts until it came true!

I was so nervous and excited leading up to the class!! I prepared and prepared and did my best to give a class that was real, honest and helpful. Nothing could have prepared me for the outpouring of support and the kind messages I got from friends and people I have never met!

I wanted to thank everyone who sent me a text, private message or posted on social media about the class or just to give me encouraging words! It means the world to me to have your support! I also want to thank each and every one of you who tuned in to watch, whether for a few minutes or for the entire time. Without you, I could not have done the class. Just knowing I had friends, true, genuine friends out there watching gave me the strength to put forth the best class I could!

I also want to send a HUGE thank you to Creative Live! They really are amazing! The entire staff made me feel welcome and constantly encouraged me! My producer, Lelia, worked her butt off helping me create the perfect senior class and I definitely could not have done it without her! Every single person that works for Creative Live truly is awesome! If you ever get the chance to go to a class or to teach a class, jump at it! I can not say enough nice things about everything they do! From watching a Creative Live class when I first started in photography to teaching one, I truly believe that Creative Live strives to give the best possible education for creatives.

The last thank you is for those that came to the class. The in-person audience kept me going! They interacted and helped make the class a fun place to be! I thank each of you for joining me in Seattle!! Seeing your smiling faces and nodding heads looking back at me as I taught, helped me more than you know!!
