A brand new Senior Model Program paired with a concept from the past was exactly what Anna Pociask of Anna Pociask Photography created with her 2014 Senior Model Shoot.  Using hair, makeup and props, Anna takes you back in time with these photos below.  Check them out and read what Anna had to share about her Model Program.  Thanks for sharing Anna!

How did you come up with the theme or concept for your rep shoot? Well I am a lover of anything old, as it seems more striking to me. It is an instant connection to people when they are able to go back in time with bikes, cars, and wardrobe.

What camera, lens or other equipment was used for this shoot?  I mainly shot with my 5d Mark iii, and 35L 1.4

What time of day were these taken?  3-7 pm

Can you share any post-processing techniques used when editing this session?  I touch each photo individually in photoshop.

How did you find your reps? I simply just put it out there on Facebook with a questionnaire to fill out, and then I narrowed it down from there.

How many different high schools are represented with your reps? 5

What qualities do you look for in a rep? Someone that obviously is not shy in front of the camera, outgoing and involved in a lot with school activities, and a bubbly personality that is not afraid to hang out with a 30 year old that says everything is “rad”….(aka, me) 😉

How many years have you done a rep program for your senior photography business? This was my first year, and my first year to really pursue getting my name out there to seniors. I really would like that to be my main focus in the next couple years.

What incentives or rewards do the reps receive? print credit, sitting fee cut to the one that sends the most referrals, and beautiful pictures for their Facebook profile. 😉

What do you want this session to convey about this senior and about your senior photography style?  I want my style to portray the old soul that lives in me; the love and passion I have for bringing out fun and beauty in my images. And that each session I will bring something unique to the table.

What is one tip that you would give another photographer on how to build a successful senior rep program? Have a face-to-face interview before choosing your reps.
